Sail Experiences

Herons & Harriers

Experience sail while discovering the birdlife of Broadland, under the guidance of a skilled skipper. This experience could include a visit to Ranworth Conservation Centre, Cockshoot Broad walkway, the Hoveton Great Broad or How Hill Nature trails. It could also be combined with a visit to the Fairhaven Water Gardens.

Bring your binoculars, what might you see? (bird book provided on Iara!)

Herons, Crested or Little Grebes, Oyster Catchers, Cormorants, Tufted Ducks, Egyptian Geese, Black Swans and more...

Marsh Harriers, Kestrels, Osprey, Swifts, Kingfishers, Barn Owls, Bittern (if you're very lucky!) and more.

Reed or Sedge Warblers, Tree Creepers, Buntings and a whole host of other small wetland birdlife.

We will be happy to discuss the best plan for your day.
